Tracking Game Development

Hi there, I'm Giocrom, and this is Devlog #000 of Planets In Danger!

I'm developing this game using the Game Maker Engine after a long internal debate about which technology to use for the project. Initially, I considered using Godot, but since the game is entirely 2D, I decided to switch to Game Maker at the last second.

I'm starting this devlog series because I finally managed to set up version control using Git (with GitHub for remote hosting). This feels like a great milestone for me - being the first I'm managing a project like this, all by myself - and the perfect time to start tracking my progress moving forward.
